Sorry to break it to you, but it looks like Shaun White is officially off the market. Your favorite pro snowboarding sensation appears to be in a brand-new relationship with a woman named Angela Garten (no relation to Ina, our beloved Barefoot Contessa) and their relationship is already heating up well before we can say we’re in summer.

In super cute images obtained by TMZ, Shaun and Angela looked v cozy while out in New York City together. In one of the images, Angela rode on the back of a motorbike with Shaun as he held her shopping bags, while other photos showed the pair taking a stroll downtown and popping into stores. And that wasn’t their first hang, either! Just about a week earlier, TMZ published photos of the two at Kiki’s Greek restaurant on the Lower East Side—though at the time, she was simply a “mystery woman.”

So…who is Angela Garten? Read on to find out all about the girl that seems to have stolen Shaun’s heart.

She’s a model.

And yes, she is unfairly gorgeous! Angela has modeled for brands like SKIMS, Agent Provocateur, G Starr Raw, Fleur Du Mal, Cuup, and more. While she hasn’t confirmed any relationship with Shaun (yet), he did drop a cowboy emoji on this modeling photo of hers from five weeks ago:

She’s an appreciator of art.

A scroll through Angela’s Instagram shows that she loves art. She’s a fan of Picasso, Rothko, Nathaniel Mary Quinn, and more.

She was a cat mom.

Angela adopted a cat which she later named Iroh, but he later passed away from cancer. “The shelter informed me that he was born with leukemia, meaning there was a good chance his lifespan would be cut short (he was two weeks shy of being three months). We connected so quickly that I knew—even if that were the case—we were meant to be together, and it was my job to give him the absolute best life I was capable of. To ensure that his life had meaning. Still, I thought we’d have more time,” she wrote in November.

She’s an advocate for animal shelters.

“Adopting shelter pets is so important,” her post continued. “Lending ourselves to our fellow creatures is one of the best things we can do as people. Even though these companions don’t stay with us forever on this physical plane, I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to love, support, and share their lives with these animals—so often forgotten, abandoned, abused, or born into the worst circumstances. They need us, and we need them. Spend your life connecting with and loving them. What feels like such a brief moment in our lives is a lifetime for them.”

Angela also quietly supports the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation by sharing a link to the foundation’s website in her Instagram bio.
